Saturday afternoon’s Chorus Contest was highlighted (while the official scores were being compiled) by the surprise appearance of the APIC Chorus – Association of Past International Champions (Quartets). “They laid ‘em in the aisles.” [Photo]
 
The distinction of being an AIC Show is a grey area. I believe the Past Champs SHOW began in 1960. Past champs DID perform following a final contest but it was not specifically a PAST Champ Show. The term AIC didn’t show up until 1970, preceded by APIC Show. The only year missed was 1961. There has been an “AIC” show every year since.
